Fluid Power's new face

Fluid Power Solutions (FPS) has undergone something of a makeover in the last few months. "It's great," says an enthusiastic Rob Hutton, GM. "All our vehicles have been smartened up, the whole shop has been painted and refitted, I've got the guys wearing flash new gear, and we've even resealed our ruggedy old car park with nice smooth black-top!".

As part of the redevelopment, FPS have become a supplier of Pipeline WAM hoses - an entire new range of industrial hose and fittings. There are more types of hoses than most people knew existed, from fire hoses to UV resistant irrigation pipes, marine and swimming pool hoses, industrial hoses in every grade from food to chemical, and all the associated couplings, taps and fittings. "There are so many products in this range, we have had to reorganise half our building to fit them all in! But now we carry the most extensive range of industrial hoses in the top of the South Island."

We have added that to the other work FPS does, from designing and building customised hydraulic and pneumatic systems, through to programmed maintenance and operating our fleet of emergency service vehicles. You can see why FPS is a busy place.
