I founded Challenge Marine in 1986 and have had the pleasure of delivering dozens of new builds over the years. My passion began in the earlier years helping my father build wooden trawlers in his workshop which encouraged me to continue on and become a marine engineer. I have spent several years at sea in some of the roughest conditions the Southern Ocean has to offer which has given me the ability to understand the key requirements for boat building and design.

We know that a successful build and delivery is in the planning. Our build process ensures we deliver on time and on budget. We place a great deal of importance in getting to know our clients and understanding their exact needs prior to final design and commencing the build. We offer a one set price system which means our quoted price to you is all you have to pay from start to finish unless any extras are requested during the build process. We ensure our clients feel confident when building with us through our experience and ability to deliver on time, on budget and to their specifications.
